A little about me…
I’m Daphne — your captivating dinner companion, soulful confidante, and lighthearted muse all rolled into an overly educated young blonde with the down-to-earth air of an ingenue. Forever curious and excited to meet new people, I’m thrilled that we’ve crossed virtual paths.
A bit about how you’d recognize me on the street; I’m a shorter blonde, petite, lithe, and soft; quick to smile with a disproportionately hearty laugh. My naturally blonde hair ranges from curling tresses that cascade over my shoulders to more cropped styles that leave wisps of gold flying across my face. With naturally full, pillowy lips and a probing gaze, well…if you think I’m inviting you to a kiss, then I probably am.

I grew up in a beautiful but very rural part of the United States, where as a child I was constantly engrossed in books and a chronic teacher’s pet from a young age. I excelled in school, a project which has carried well into my adult life as I’ve achieved advanced degrees in the humanities and social sciences from some of the top universities in the country. I’m multilingual, speaking three languages with at least some conversational fluency and I’m able to read and write in four others. My work and studies have taken me across the world, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, where I’ve gotten the opportunity to interact with people across the social spectrum—from camping with Bedouin herders in Jordan to hob-nobbing with socialites in exclusive events at Versaille. These experiences have made me a preeminent people person, able to look beyond external trappings of status and pretension, to the common denominators that join us regardless of money, culture, or background.
I’ve landed for now in Baltimore, a city I’ve grown to adore in the six years since I moved here. I’ve basked in the underground art and music scenes, frequenting the counter-cultural spaces that this city has to offer. I remain firmly committed to my adopted city, frequently volunteering my time as an organizer. I spend the rest of my time reading extensively, about history, philosophy, social theory, art, literature, and beyond. There is nothing more charming than a book given on the first date.
I’m not infrequently down in D.C., either visiting my close friends or rooting out another local art show there. I’d be lying also if I said that I didn’t love the occasional jaunt out to upscale dining experiences, a fine arts show at a larger venue, or a chance to socialize with people who simply know more than I do. Life has so much to offer, after all!
Now, be warned. A date with me is not for the faint of heart. I’m inquisitive, generous, and a good listener but I am also honest and forthright. I speak my mind in a direct and unadorned fashion that will inspire and challenge you but is not meant to stroke your ego. I’m opinionated about what I know and eager to learn what I don’t, and very ready to provoke new thoughts and join in laughter over our shared human foibles.
Finally, what to say about me other than my adventurous spirit extends into more private settings, as well. This is where I’m at my most indulgent and luxurious, eager to learn with and about my partner and explore the mental, physical, and spiritual connections that can form in our most intimate and sensual moments. I’m well-versed in kink and BDSM practices and spaces, typically leaning submissive, but also ready as a refreshingly surprising switch or a demanding mistress depending on the dynamic that arrives before me. I’m a very queer person, eagerly pansexual, and very enthusiastic about partners of all genders, orientations, and presentations who lie anywhere on life’s long journey of self-knowledge and discovery.
So come with me. We can debate the uncomfortable unknowns, explore hidden gems of far-flung destinations, and indulge in the riches of a world that we will make and discover together. Let’s immerse ourselves in the transformative power of true companionship and create an adventure all our own.
I simply can’t wait to meet you.

Libations
Piquepoul blancs in summer, full-bodied chardonnay in winter, fruity kombucha on a warm afternoon, aromatic early grays and earthy green teas on the colder days.
Dining
I’m vegetarian-leaning and an excellent home-cook, so I usually make food for myself, but when I’m out and about I’ve loved the following locations:
Baltimore: Alma, Sotto Sopra, Clavel, The Charleston, Comptoir Du Vin, Ammoora
Washington, D.C.: Cranes, Albi, Reverie, Pisco y Nazca
Bars
Baltimore: Bluebird, Dutch Courage, Rye, Loch Bar
Washington, D.C.: The Mirror, Red Derby, Officina
Destinations
My favorite destinations have been: Barcelona and Zurich internationally and Provincetown, Massachusetts, domestically.
Longing after a visit to Santorini, Greece. Let’s go explore together?
Snacks
Artisanal (very fragrant) cheeses, fresh-cut fruit and vegetables, assorted nuts, and (always) french fries.
